HDI One Click, hr | equarium and HIPE are the winners of this year's Transformation Award 2020. Torsten Leue announced the top three projects from the virtual stage of this year's digital Executive Meeting.

The three winning projects represent decisive advances in the Group's agile and digital transformation. They make special contributions to strengthening the Group strategy ("What") and promoting the agile cultural change ("How"). Last but not least, the purpose ("Why") is impressively embodied by the successful collaboration in highly agile, cross-functional project teams. The prize-winners are celebrating a financial boost awarded for a team activity. Altogether 89 innovative projects from 22 countries were entered for the Transformation Award 2020.

1st place: HDI One Click, HDI Seguros S.A. (Brazil)

"HDI One Click" cuts the time needed to calculate a motor insurance quote to just a few seconds and makes the entire process 100% digital. The motor insurance offered by HDI Seguros Brazil revolutionises the market and promises an unparalleled customer experience. The approach will shortly be adapted in Brazil for private property insurance policies, insurance products aimed at SMEs and life insurance business.

2nd place: hr | equarium, Hannover Re (Germany)

Hannover Re's insurtech platform hr | equarium offers customers – in this case insurance companies – access to insurtech providers. More than 600 insurers from over 100 countries are currently registered on the platform. Customers enjoy access to a diverse range of solutions and need invest little effort themselves. Launched at the beginning of 2019, the platform is already operating successfully after just a year. It is opening up reinsurance opportunities and generating the first measurable transactions.

3rd place: Intrapreneurship Programme, Hannover Re (Germany)

The Hannover Re Intrapreneurship Programme, or HIPE for short, is intended to develop innovative new concepts for Hannover Re that foster cross-functional international collaboration through the use of new methods and have positive implications for profitability or costs.
